Welder / Welding / Fabrication Welder

About the Role

Incumbents are responsible for welding, cutting, grinding, chipping, and clean-up in the projects with which they are

involved. Typically, they will work closely with the Welding Shop Foreman, Yard Superintendent, Dredge Captains, Deck

Captains, Welders, Helpers, and other skilled crafts persons. The incumbent must support the guiding beliefs and core

values of Orion which are centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Teamwork, most importantly with each built upon the

all-important foundation of Integrity. Works as assigned by the Welding Shop Foreman to ensure the successful completion

of on-going or new marine yard support projects. Gathers information on the scope of work and obtains the necessary
