About the Role

Water Utilities Mechanic II

This is a skilled position in performing, assisting, and directing the maintenance and repair of mechanical/electrical

equipment and machinery. This position maintains and repairs all equipment and machinery, both stationery and portable,

at modern water and wastewater treatment plants, distribution booster stations, and collection system lift stations.

Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed by the supervisor for results obtained.
