Plant Operator Mechanic
About the Role
The Operative Mechanic serves as the primary frontline operator responsible for safe, reliable power generation and
mechanical support within a combinedcycle power plant environment. This role blends operations and mechanical
maintenance, with approximately 70% plant operations and 30% mechanical/maintenance work. Operate and monitor HRSG
systems, gas turbines, package boilers, chillers, plant breakers, and electrical busses. Perform routine plant
inspections, identify issues, and troubleshoot conditions that may lead to outages. Start up, shut down, and forecast
equipment operation based on site demand (site does not run daily). Conduct mechanical maintenance on rotating
