Pipefitter / Welding Helper

About the Role

Steel Fitter/Welder Assistant In this role, you will assist fitters and welders in fitting and welding tasks such as

positioning and aligning structural metal components in the fabrication of steel structures. Operate punches, grinders,

drills, saws, oxy-fuel torches, and other basic equipment and hand tools. Clean work area and restock supplies and

materials as necessary. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during

installation. May perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of journeyman's tools and equipment. Perform other

routine duties as directed by experienced craft person. Manually move, lift, and transfer material and safely operate
