Medical Equipment Mechanic

About the Role

Water Plant Mechanic I Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, piping systems, and

related mechanical equipment to ensure dependable operation of water treatment facilities. Work is performed under

limited supervision with moderate latitude. Relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the

best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED.

Three (3) or more years' experience in the mechanical or plumbing fields; or an equivalent combination of education,

certification, training, and/or experience. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to
