About the Role
Maintenance Worker in Public Works A Maintenance Worker in Public Works performs general manual work and semi-skilled
labor to maintain the City's right-of-way areas. Depending on the area assigned, this position is generally responsible
for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of City grounds, streets, sidewalks, stormwater drainage systems and other City
facilities, performing duties such as mowing, trimming, debris removal, sidewalk and curb maintenance, and assisting
with stormwater drainage systems. The position ensures that public spaces remain safe, clean, and accessible for
residents and visitors. This position is designated as "essential personnel" and may serve as a member of the Emergency
