About the Role
Pastry Cook The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and baking pastries, desserts, and other baked goods under the
guidance of the Pastry Chef. They assist in maintaining a high standard of quality, ensuring the pastry section operates
smoothly and efficiently. Essential Functions And Basic Duties Measure, mix, and bake ingredients to prepare a variety
of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. Follow established recipes and instructions from the Pastry Chef. Ensure
proper portioning and consistency of all products. Maintain high standards of taste, texture, and presentation for all
pastry items. Check the freshness of ingredients and discard expired or substandard items. Assist in managing inventory
