Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The incumbent lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and

maintains plumbing systems and related equipment for assigned projects. S/he may occasionally oversee and direct the

work of a small group of laborers. Base hourly rate of $23/hr - $34/hr KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembles pipe

sections, tubings, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering,

brazing, and/or welding equipment. Fills pipes or plumbing fixtures with water/air and observes pressure gauges to

detect and locate leaks. Reviews blueprints and specifications to determine work details and procedures. Locates and
