About the Role
Job Title This is responsible work driving heavy-duty trucks and operating construction/maintenance equipment. Nature Of
Work Employees in this class are responsible for performing tasks of average difficulty involving the safe operation of
large trucks on public streets and highways. Employees are also required to operate diverse, moderately complex
motorized construction/maintenance equipment. Under immediate supervision, employees are required to exercise some
initiative and independent judgment in completing assigned tasks. Tasks at times are performed under hazardous
conditions and employees are expected to be particularly alert and careful whenever operating the assigned
