About the Role

Operation of heavy equipment in support of the City's construction and infrastructure maintenance needs. Operate Medium

and Heavy Equipment including but not limited to: Front End Loaders, Dump Trucks, Forklifts, Lightning Loaders, Bobcat

Skid-Steers, Mini Excavators, Street Sweepers, Vac Truck, etc. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Perform

daily pre-trip and post trip inspections of equipment. Keep equipment clean and in good repair. Transport equipment to

and from the job site and to the City garage on trailers. Installation and maintenance of drainage structures. (cleaning

of swales and ponds using heavy equipment, installation of pipe, etc.) Support and assist Divisional crews in their
