About the Role

Landscape Maintenance Position This position is responsible for complete general landscape maintenance of the New

College of Florida campus. Examples of Duties Operates groundskeeping equipment such as a utility cart, mower, edger,

blower and line trimmer. When required, operate a dump truck or tractor. Ensures equipment is kept clean after each use

and reports any maintenance issues to the supervisor. Duties include; mowing turf, edging turf areas, blowing sidewalks

and parking lots, line trimming landscape areas. Weeds, rakes, irrigates, prunes and applies mulch to trees, shrubs and

landscape beds. Polices grounds, picks up and removes debris, trash, litter, downed branches. Clears drains and reports
