About the Role
Summary The Electronic Industrial Control Mechanic (EICM) is assigned to the Facilities Maintenance Services at the
Orlando VA Medical Center. The position provides advanced repairs, installations, troubleshooting, calibration,
configuration/functional testing of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, emergency power generators and
electronic/industrial control systems that monitor and control the Central Energy Plant (CEP) steam production, utility
power production, and chill water distribution systems. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Performs
diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, tuning, and repair of Building Automation Systems (BAS/Metasys), PLC based
