About the Role

Job Title Under the direction of the Plant Operations Director or designated Supervisor, duties of the Plumber include,

but are not limited to; plumbing, steam, condensate, chill water, reheat domestic repairs/installation in a commercial,

industrial, institutional applications. Understands closed loop systems as well as medical gas systems and associated

piping. Coordinates shutdowns with hospital staff and contracted services. Reads and understands blueprints, mechanical

and plumbing. Works with contracted mechanical engineers as needed. Ability to purchase materials beneficial to the

hospital with long-term benefits to the infrastructure on-going. Cost conscious with input on water consumption
