Equipment Mechanic

About the Role

The A & P Aircraft Mechanic repairs, maintains, and services District aircraft in compliance with the directives and

standards of the Federal Aviation Administration and policies and procedures as set forth by the District Board of

Commissioners and administered by the Executive Director. The A & P Aircraft Mechanic will be exposed to both inside and

outside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, close proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in high places,

small confined spaces, exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors and or oils and may be required to wear a respirator and

other protective equipment as required. The A & P Aircraft Mechanic will be expected to perform very heavy work
