About the Role
Job Title This is a non-exempt position which requires unskilled and semi-skilled manual work in the performance of
light and heavy manual labor for conducting various maintenance duties for various municipal departments of the City of
Plantation. Employees are hired as AT WILL employees that serve at the pleasure of the City and may be terminated at any
time with or without cause. Examples Of Duties Assist City mechanics in performing a variety of routine repairs and
maintenance on automotive, heavy, and mechanical equipment. Perform miscellaneous pick-ups, deliveries, and errands as
required to support garage and departmental operations. Exercise care and follow established safety practices in the use
