About the Role

Crane Operator This position operates cranes to lift, move, and position large structure gates, pump station machinery,

and heavy loads. This position will also be required to operate multi-excavation/earthmoving equipment such as dump

trucks, backhoes, gradalls, etc. Inspects the crane for safety issues daily, as well as the condition of the work site

prior to setting up the crane. Reads and understands signs, signals, load charts, grade stakes, excavation plans,

maps/charts for dredging areas, operating manuals, and service procedures. Must be aware of how much material can be

lifted safely based upon weather conditions and the capacity of the crane. Manipulates crane controls to regulate the
