About the Role

Van Driver (CNA) The Transportation Aide (CNA) is to provide safe transport of patients, personal effects, requisitions,

specimens, charts, and miscellaneous items and assist with patient transport activities as required. Major Duties and

Critical Tasks: The Transportation Aide is responsible for transporting patients and/or specimens upon request

Transports patients using wheelchairs and with stretcher transports Transports specimens to the laboratory, and delivers

blood and blood products in a timely manner Picks up slides for physicians to review from laboratory as requested

Obtains supplies from central supply as requested Participates/uses the automated systems in a timely and accurate
