About the Role
Summary Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans
layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with supervision. Efficiently produce quality welds. Perform
or assist with post‐weld cleanup, inspection, and repair. Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman regarding issues
and concerns on the job site. Comply with all Matrix safety policies and programs. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities: Tank Welders must be able to pass the following weld tests: SMAW E6010 (5P) 3G, Downhill SMAW E7018 – 2G, 3G,
4G Specialty Vessel Welders must be able to pass the following weld tests: FCAW (ENiCrMo3T1-4) - 2G, 3G, 4G FCAW
