About the Role
Mechanical Equipment Technician
Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Identifies parts for replacement and
machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal
training in area of specialty. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. Works under
general supervision. Typically reports to Assembly Mechanic IV or Production Manager.
